This one-of-a-kind handmade lapis lazuli necklace combines deep blue gemstone beads, organically shaped stones, black accents, and a distinctive vintage 925 sterling silver pendant. Its varied shapes, rich colors, and substantial design create a bold statement piece with bohemian and Asian-inspired character.

Round lapis lazuli beads in different sizes alternate with larger, organically shaped stones. The largest round beads measure approximately 8 mm, while the larger stone elements measure up to approximately 1.8 × 1.4 cm (0.71 × 0.55 inches). Four black acrylic beads and a decorative Buddha head bead add striking contrast and individual detail.

At the center is a carefully selected vintage pendant made of 925 sterling silver. It is set with blue lapis lazuli and red stones described as coral. Its detailed design, visible patina, and impressive dimensions of approximately 5.4 × 3 × 1.5 cm (2.13 × 1.18 × 0.59 inches) make it the distinctive focal point. The vintage pendant was selected and incorporated into the design but was not made by me.

The necklace is carefully strung on durable jewelry wire. Measuring approximately 51 cm (20.1 inches) and weighing approximately 75 g, it has a noticeably substantial feel and impressive presence.

By combining a newly handcrafted gemstone necklace with an existing vintage silver pendant, this unique piece brings together individual craftsmanship, rich lapis lazuli tones, and jewelry with a history.

I incorporated an existing vintage pendant into a new and individual jewelry design. This gives a previously owned piece a renewed purpose as the distinctive centerpiece of a handmade necklace.

I love the intense blue of lapis lazuli combined with the warm red coral accents. The varied shapes, Buddha head bead, and detailed vintage silver pendant give the necklace a bold and spiritually inspired appearance.
